Almost two months ago, we told you about the situation at southern foreshore where the sea was being swallowed up by silt. Well, since then it's gotten much worse, and the mass of silt now stretches halfway across the harbor – even threatening to get into the channel that the cruise ship tenders and the water taxi's use.
And while all this happens, no one seems to be doing anything about it. Neither the Port Authority, nor the Fort Street Port, nor the Central Government, nor the city council is working to move out the silt. And today we found out why. The mayor says it costs two million dollars!:..
