In other diplomatic news, Minister of Foreign Affairs Wilfred Elrington is in Managua, Nicaragua this week building on Central American friendships. A press release says he is a special guest of President Daniel Ortega to commemorate the 37th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.
A press release says that while in Nicaragua, Elrington will explore opportunities to further Belize-Nicaragua cooperation in the areas of tertiary level education and social development.
Nicaragua currently holds the presidency of SICA.
