A man ended up in court today because of a domestic dispute - but it's news because the complainant isn't a woman; it's a man!
39 year old Noel Garcia reported that his partner of 6 months, 23 year old Justin Arnold slapped him during a domestic dispute.
This morning, after an overnight in lock down, Arnold appeared before Magistrate, Carlon Mendoza where he was read a single charge of common assault.
Arnold pleaded not guilty and Magistrate Mendoza offered him bail of $500 dollars.
Garcia told Police that it happened at their North Front Street home on Wednesday night at 9:00. He says Arnold asked him to help pull down a door. Garcia told Arnold he was too tired to help, and alleges that's when Arnold slapped him.
