Ernest Staine also made an appearance in court today and was charged with unlicensed possession of a 9mm pistol and 14 rounds of ammunition. On Saturday, September 17th, police were patrolling Giles Street when they spotted a suspicious looking Staine, and stopped to search him. It was then that police found the firearm and ammunition, and after failure to produce a license he was arrested.
