A 70 year old woman is homeless after her Corozal house was burnt down on Tuesday night. Virginia Guy left her son sleeping and went to visit a neighbor. Guy rushed back home after she found out her house was on fire but there was nothing she could do, the fire had already spread throughout the entire house, destroying everything. Police believe it was arson. They will continue to investigate
Sources indicate that one of Guy's sons was detained by authorities for questioning, but she defended her son, saying he was blameless.
