No Charges For Alleged Fire Starter

Ladyville police have not charged the man detained for setting Deputy Prime Minister Patrick Faber's vehicle on fire. Though the Belize City resident has been positively identified based on the images form the security camera – police say they are still gathering elements form the investigation. They now expect to charge him on Monday. He has told police that someone set him on to do it.

On Tuesday at midnight, a lone figure was seen dousing an SUV in Faber's driveway at his Lord's Bank home. The man put one bottle of gas, and then came back minute slater with a 5 gallon container and continued dousing. He then set the vehicle on fire right next to Faber's home. The blaze was quickly contained by the Ladyville fire department.
