Tonight a Cayo resident is recovering after he was shot in the groin. On Friday night around 11:50, 39 year old Rudolph Gentle told police that he was at his home in Santa Elena when a man wearing a hoody shot him - hitting him in the groin and causing a serious injury. Gentle has undergone surgery and is recovering. Police are still looking into Gentle's report. There is no clear motive at this time and no one has been detained.
