Last night we told you about 21-year-old Adiel Mojica, the San Felipe resident who was murdered in a bar brawl. Well, Orange Walk police have arrested and charged the two men accused of causing the fatal injuries. They are, 40-year-old Saul Reyes and 47-year-old Juan Orellana, both charged for Murder.
Mojica's father says it was a drunken brawl and his son ran home for a machete to defend himself:...
Fredo Mojica, Father of Deceased
"I saw my son come home with a stab wound. He took a machete to go and look for them. That's when they finished killing him. When he was shouting for his life, I went to see him, and he had four stab wounds, two in the front and two in the back. I stayed there and looked at him and when the one that did it who has a tattoo was coming to finish killing him, at that moment I had a stick in my hand, and I told him if he comes bear he will see what will happen to him. That's when we put him in a pickup and brought him to Orange Walk then later on the police brought the two guys that did the damage to my son."
Mojica was transferred to the KHMH and died about 30 hours after he was stabbed.
