Eamon Courtney, SC, VS. Yellowman, Macebearer
posted (May 19, 2017)
And what the PUP and the media don't want to happen again, is a repeat of the heckling, disruption and menacing that happened at Wednesday's session of the Senate Hearings. Senior Counsel Eamon Courtenay took on professional rabble rouser, Yellowman and said someone has to put him in check:...

Hon. Eamon Courtenay, PUP Senator
"Audinette is an employee of this honorable house. It is unacceptable for him to behave that way on the premises of the very house of which he is the macebearer, the person who is to ensure that law and order on regular business can be conducted. But more than that, it is the arrogance, it is the disrespect, it is the criminal behavior of these people. They believe that they can behave with impunity and attack even the media who is recording as is their right what is taking place."

"Now they are talking about bringing mass police here on Wednesday so that the senate can conduct its inquiry. Really, we need police to come to protect us from who? From agents of the government? It is a very sad indictment of where we are as a democracy. What has the Prime Minister said about the behavior of his chairman? What has the speaker said about the behavior of the macebearer? These people needs to be called out."

"Speaking of the chairman, he was on Wave Radio this morning. I am sure you heard him say at the inquiry on Wednesday they will be back each and every time you appear, because the protest is about the inquiry, not about the press, it's about you specifically."

Hon. Eamon Courtenay, PUP Senator
"I will not dignify the comments of that gentleman with any response, absolutely none. I deny his existence."
