Three Weeks Later, Cops Nab The Man They Say Killed “Hard Rock”
posted (June 15, 2017)
The popular DJ known as "Hard Rock" was killed three weeks ago, and since then, police have been saying they know who his killer is but they couldn't find him. Well, he was found yesterday in Belmopan, and promptly arrested and charged. He's 25 year-old David Richard Arnold, and tonight he's at the Belize Central Prison.

Arnold was arraigned this evening before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer on a single charge of murder. Because this is a capital offense, Senior Magistrate Frazer informed him that cannot get bail, and no plea will be taken from him, since the case will be tried at the Supreme Court.

He has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison, and he will be brought back before the Magistrate on August 9.

Andrew Bennett, aka "Hard Rock", was standing in front of his house on Central American Boulevard on the night of May 24, at around 7:43 p.m. That's when a man came up on the street and opened fire on him. Bennett was injured several times to the head and body, and he died on the spot. Police have not disclosed the motive for the shooting.
