Moneylender Shot In Benque
posted (June 15, 2017)
A moneylender from Benque Viejo Town is hospitalized for gunshot injuries after being attacked at his home.

At around 10 a.m. this morning, 2 Hispanic men reportedly went to the home of Erwin Cocom, and they started shooting at the businessman, hitting him in the right hip, the hand and the leg.

The cops haven't clarified if the men escaped with any money, but they say that Cocom was transported to the KHMH in a stable condition. Other sources say he is not at the KHMH.

This evening, we spoke with Superintendent Daniel Arzu Sr., the officer commanding Benque Viejo Police, and he told us that the case is being investigated, and that he was unable to address any of our inquiries because he was in a late-evening meeting about the case.
