"I don't know of any formal courting that has been done but you do here these things from time to time but as far as I know and in fact we discussed this matter as recent as this week in Cabinet Belize is firm with the Taiwanese people and the government and we don't anticipate that kind of change happening anytime now."
Experts say China prefers to stretch out the times when it steals allies from Taiwan.
