He allegedly beat a man so badly that he caused him to go blind, and now 23 year old Oscar Revelo, from Ladyville, faces a charge of maim for it.
No plea was taken when he appeared today before Magistrate Aretha Ford because it's a Supreme Court matter. Revelo was denied bail and remanded until October 27.
The incident occurred in July when Edward Quilter says Revelo beat him on his head with a pistol. Quilter said the beating has left him completely blind in his left eye.
