The Prime Minister says he's willing to extend funding for the Senate Special Select Committee into next year, as long as they can come up with a timeline to wind up the hearings.
Today the Chamber of Commerce agreed. They issued a statement statement saying, quote,"The BCCI also believes it is not unreasonable to call on The Committee to provide a practical timeline and associated budget estimates that they believe would be sufficient for the fulfillment of their Terms of Reference."
The chamber also calls on the Commissioner of Police and the Director of Public Prosecutions to, quote, "leverage the work of The Committee to complete their own investigations with the aim of bringing criminal charges against all persons who have violated our laws." end quote.
