Leader of the Opposition John Briceno wants some answers from BIL. Two weeks ago, he wrote to Deputy Prime Minster Patrick Faber as co-chair of Belize Infrastructure Limited asking for audited accounts, all projects, proof of public tendering, and all contracts. Â
Today the PUP sent the media the letter, noting that “there has been no response from the D.P.M., not even an acknowledgment of receipt.â€
In his letter, Briceno alleges that works completed under BIL's supervision have poor design, lack of proper execution and will result in losses of public funds.Â
