The other hit and run death happened this morning in Orange Walk.  It happened at around 5:00 when Richard Canti was knocked off his bicycle and died.  The 34 year old Chan Pine Ridge resident was riding to work at a bakery when he was hit from behind and flung violently to the shoulder of the road - where he died instantly.  His crushed bicycle shows the extent of the impact.  

Police don’t have any clues leading to the driver at this time.  

Canti was recently featured in a documentary as a broom maker - work which he used to do on the weekend.
