And while there is no arrest in that case, police have made an arrest for Wednesday night's other shooting.
As we told you 25-year-old Emmerson Garnett and 23-year-old Houston Apolonio were shot by a gunman on Police street. Apolonio was only grazed, but Garnett was shot to his chest and remains in a critical condition.
Tonight, the police say 23-year-old Belize City resident Akeem Augustine did it.
He appeared in court today and was charged with 1 count of attempted murder, 1 count of dangerous harm, 1 count of use of deadly means, and 2 counts of aggravated assault.
He was remanded into custody until May 17th. This was not Augustine's first court appearance. Last year he was acquitted of the murder of 27-year-old Ardon Belgrave.
