Last week, we told you about the murders of 35 year-old Luis Dominguez and 45 year-old Clinton Fitzgibbon which happened in the same Kings Park area, only 3 days apart.
Both men were City Council employees, and Fitzgibbon was supposedly murdered because the shooter was looking for a family member of his. It has been speculated that Fitzgibbon was murdered as some form of retaliation for Dominguez's killing.
Today, police confirmed in their bi-weekly press conference that they too believe that the two murders are connected:
