“Dayamineral” Syrup Could Be Counterfeit
posted (March 13, 2018)
If your medicine chest has a vitamin and mineral syrup called Dayamineral - you should throw it out.

That's what the Ministry of Health says. It sent out a health advisory saying that the Dayamineral 240 ML is an "unauthorized and suspected falsified" supplement.

The Ministry has taken it off shelves because it, quote, "has not been registered by the Ministry and therefore cannot be imported into the country as it has not met the necessary quality standards and may be compromised." End quote.

Pharmacists whose stock hasn't been confiscated "are asked to remove the items from shelves and discard."

The health advisory says, quote, "The public is advised…to abstain from purchasing products from unlicensed or unauthorized establishments and peddlers." End quote.

Our information says it may be counterfeit products meant to look like the Mexican original, but originating instead from Guatemala.
