And while that 16 year old Orange Walk resident is in stable condition - the family of a 15 year old from Palmar village is grieving.
On Sunday morning at 8:45, Angel Gabriel Cisneros was found hanging from a tree branch in some bushes near the village. He was found in a kneeling position with a nylon Strap tied around his neck.
He had been missing for 5 days - and he was in an advanced state of decomposition. Police say he had died 5 days ago.
The cops told the press today that preliminary indications are that Cisneros may have committed suicide, but they are not ruling out foul play just yet:

"Yesterday Orange Walk police responded to a call of a body found in a decomposed state somewhere in the bushes near Palmar Village. The body was later identified to be Angel Gabriel Cisneros, 15 years of age, Salvador Nationality. He was reported missing on Saturday the 10th of March. Initial investigation revealed that on the 3rd of March, the deceased left home and was never seen or heard from. This report was not made until the 3rd of March, and thereafter a search party discovered his body yesterday. On site, post mortem was done and the cause of dead was determined to be mechanical asphyxia due to hanging. Initial investigation with the family revealed that the deceased was having some problems and as a result of being disciplined, he decided that he will leave home. Hence the reason according to the sister, the report was not made until this past Saturday the 10th of March."

"No not at this point in time because the on-site post mortem was done yesterday and the doctor confirmed that that was in conformity with hanging."

"Yes we are aware of that, this is still an ongoing investigation. The investigation does not stop there."
As you heard, the Post Mortem certified the cause of death to be asphyxiation from hanging.
