A week ago, we told you about the murder 4 year-old Treshawn Goff. He's the boy who was shot and killed on Nurse Finley Crescent.
His family continues to mourn his senseless murder, and he was laid to rest over the long weekend. His loved-ones are hoping that police will be able to solve the case, but today, the cops told us that they aren't any closer than they were last week.
ASP Alejandro Cowo spoke briefly on the case today:

"I know that we are following up that investigation. We have detained 4 persons, however, because of the lack of evidence, we had to release them. Nonetheless, that investigation still being followed up, and we are looking for other suspects that might assist us in this investigation. Likewise, we appeal to the public, that if they know anything, to please assist us, to solve this matter."

"Up to this moment, we are still puzzled as to who was the intended target there, and why is it that shooting occurred. We do not have any information that the persons that were injured belong to any of the gangs here in Belize City. So, we are still looking as to what might be the possible motive in regards to that shooting."
