35 year old Lennox Mejia - who apparently also doubles as a cab driver - gave the child a ride last week Thursday morning at 7:15 AM. She expected to be taken to school but he allegedly took her to a house where he allegedly raped her. A medical examination conducted on the minor certified that she was carnally known.

The child and her mother made the report to police and today Mejia was arraigned in the Independence Magistrate's Court before Magistrate Deborah Rogers.
