64 year old Theresita Flowers was cooking in her kitchen when two gunmen strode into the yard, guns blazing. Courtney Weatehrburne tells us all about this double murder.

"I could start this way 2001, 2016 and 2018. Within 2001 we get a hit here, 2016 we lost my little sister, my mother's baby by gun violence and 2018 the 17th of March we lose our mom roughly 7:00 pm."

Tucker and her family are forced to relive the agony of their loved one's killings. Tucker's brother was stabbed in 2001.

In 2016, her sister Tameka Lemott was shot and killed in a cab in front of St. John's Vianney School. She was heading home after a concert.

The most recent victim is their 64 year old mother, Theresita Flowers. She was shot and killed inside her home on Saturday night. But she wasn't the only fatality.

Flowers was in her kitchen preparing fried fish for dinner.

Reports are that her friend, 17 year old Delcia Blanco had just opened the door to brush her teeth when two gunmen emerged and shot her in the head. The gunmen then turned to Flowers as she was running towards her room to escape. They shot her in the back.

"That's when I saw my mother right there, I couldn't believe it was my mother, right there."

"When police turned her over I see everything, it is really horrible."

Another one of Flowers' guests - 16 year old Shaniqua Ramclam was also in the kitchen. She was shot to the arm but she escaped.

19 year old Daniel Hughes was also struck to the arm. Flowers' 13 year old granddaughter could have been the next victim but she was hiding inside the room as the shots rang out.

"It was chaos I didn't really expect so much bodies in one night, in one house."

Indeed, it is a chilling tale - how these men mercilessly shot at everyone in sight at this one house. They were out for blood. What is even more disturbing is that after the Flowers' and Blanco's bodies were removed from the scene and the house was all locked up, more men came on boat through the nearby river and shot at house.

"We decide to lock up and we left and I am home and I get a phone call from my friend that men came back to shoot up your mom's house again."

But what could drive someone to this point of madness, this level of wanton violence? Well, information is that Saturday night's double murder was a retaliation

For Bernadine Louriano's murder. It is said the gunmen were there to avenge her death - a life for a life.

"We know why they came after my mom. I know they know, they know what they did, and I like I told you it is people who ate out of my mother's pot when they were smaller so they know. If you come for somebody, my mother is someone like this if my nephew did you wrong you could have spoken to my mom and you would have gotten your justice, if my mom would let police hold my nephew that would have been done."

"You didn't have to deal with my mom and it is someone you know, you buy your things, my mom buys your fish, my mom handle you and they know that, they went too far."

But these men took justice into their own hands and those good childhood days spent with Flowers in her yard - didn't matter when they pulled the trigger.

"I understand the beef that is happening but why take the beef to family members, that is taking it to a different level, I don't condone the fighting but to me when you involve innocent people because she no hurt nobody."

Now just to clarify, the men who came back after police left the scene, escaped on boat.
