Last night we told you about the upcoming friendly between Grenada and Belize. We heard from a few Grenada players but we didn't get to meet our Belize Team.
Well, today the FFB held a press conference and introduced a team with some fresh faces and a few savvy veterans. Sahar Vasquez asked them if they are ready for Grenada.
Sahar Vasquez, reporter
"In regards to the team are you concerned that they were just put together. Do you think that will affect them in the playing of the game?"
Marlon Kuylen, Senior Vice President/FFB
"Not really because they have been playing competitively since last year in their clubs. We have had them together for four weeks training two times a week and this week they are training together for the whole week so we are not concerned about that."
Sahar Vasquez
"Do you feel confident that maybe we could get a win out of this?"
Marlon Kuylen, Senior Vice President/FFB
"Oh yes, I think so and even in the Nations league I think we will do very well. In fact, I am sure we will do very well."
"We have more players that are playing internationally right now so they are getting that exposure and that professionalism in them. They come and they share it with our local players."

"I personally take all games seriously no matter if it is friendly or not. To me the idea is a good thing for us as a country. Finally, I can say that we are playing FIFA matches and that is important for us as a national team and for us players."
Elroy Smith, Belize Midfielder/Team Captain
"We have been preparing for almost a month now. Something like three weeks to a month. I think the players are confident that we can pull off a good game tomorrow. We have played like two friendly matches and we did fairly well for a team that just came together."
Other veterans like Deon McCauley will also be joining the team roster in upcoming matches. The big game will play tomorrow night in Belmopan at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium.
