John Muschamp is accused of trying to run over another man with his car. The Compliance Officer appeared in court today charged with aggravated assault with a vehicle.
It allegedly happened almost a year ago in May of 2017 on Cleghorn Street in Belize City.
Sales Representative Leon Flowers told police that he was walking on Cleghorn Street in Belize City when he heard something coming behind him. He swung around and saw a black vehicle barreling towards him.
To avoid being run over, he jumped unto the hood of the oncoming care to escape being injured.
Today 27-year-old Muschamp - represented by attorney Velda Flowers - pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Michelle Trapp.
He received $2,500 dollars bail on the condition that he doesn't interfere with the complainant whether directly, through text messages, or a third party.
