And while he's incentivizing the police for good work, Senior Superintendent Gillett is also confidence building on the southside by working with the youths.
Today he did just that. He took 22 youths from the Saint Martin's area to visit the last place they'll ever want to end up, that's the Belize Central prison. He told us more about the visit today.
Gillett says that they are also starting three farming projects in the Southside as well.
