We also asked the Solicitor General about the latest developments with the PUP's election petition. You'll remember that the Opposition is challenging the results of the municipal elections in San Pedro Town.
They've filed a petition pointing to what they see as major discrepancies which, they say, should cancel the UDP victory in that town.
The Sol. Gen told us that the case is set tentatively for a date in May:

"As I usually tell you we can't try these matters in the media, but the most I can tell you is that I think yesterday there was a direction hearing, directions were given to us to do disclosure, the filing of our evidence and also written submissions and the matters fix tentatively for hearing between the 14th and 15th of May and I think that's about it that the court did for now."
