And another man was murdered in Cayo over the long weekend. A father of 3 was chopped to death in Buena Vista. The victim is 38 year old George Hyde. He was found outside a house in the village. Courtney Weatherburne traveled to Buena Vista and spoke to a resident who lives near to where Hyde was killed. Hyde's daughter also gave a gripping account of what she saw when she got to the scene.

"I only see, when I get up from my bed from sleep, I only see the police over there and I go call my man and I tell him the police is over there by my neighbor house and he say leave it, they were doing their job they tell me, but after more later I see the chairman come and more people are coming and I say what happened over there and I understand someone was killed over there but I didn't see anything."

"We were at home in Belmopan when I heard my mom crying ,, I came out and I asked her what is wrong, my mother couldn't talk, she fell on the ground, I took the phone and I asked my aunt what is wrong she told me your dad just got killed. I couldn't say nothing, I just left it there. When we arrived here, my father was still on the ground flies all around him. People tending to the scene, lift my father around 5:00 and he was murdered around 9:00 Sunday morning."

"How did he end up at that house? Was that a friend's house?"

"I am not sure."

"You're not sure why anyone would want to kill him, did he, as far as you know of, have any problems with anybody?"

"As far as know of no, I don't know anything."

"What type of person was he, were you very close with your dad?"
Javie Choc, Daughter
"My dad was an amazing father to me and my two other little brothers, can't complain nothing."

"I know it is difficult for you all right now, you all are preparing for his wake and his funeral."

"Yes, it is heartbreaking, I don't think anyone wants to pass through this pain we are in right now."
Hyde leaves behind 3 children. Information is that he may have been killed as a result his relationship with a woman.
