The overnight figures are what jumped out at us. The BTB reports that in January and March, arrivals were up by 25% - which is a stunning figure, and, if accurate, it would mean that hotels had a very noticeable bump in occupancy.

In February there was a 17% increase which is also very strong. This is compared to the first three months of last year, when there were only very modest increases.

Also, for the first time ever, there were over 55,000 overnight visitors in March.
