Hugo Patt was Prime Minister for about four days last week while the Prime Minister was away consulting with doctors about his ailing back.  It was a surprising move since, as a two term Representative, Patt is a juniour Minister.  

Reports say the PM may have to travel again this weekend and we asked Patt if he would be ready again:

Jules Vasquez
"Will you be acting prime minister this coming weekend?"

Hon. Hugo Patt - Minister of Labour
"Aye Jules, don't ask me, he's the prime minister, the authority is on him. As I said I deputize for him, I would assume my senior colleagues weren't available at the time okay."

Jules Vasquez
"I spoke to a couple that expressed a bit of shock."

Hon. Hugo Patt
"I haven't spoken to them so I really can't tell you."

Jules Vasquez
"How was your experience as acting prime minister? Was it anything out of the ordinary?"

Hon. Hugo Patt
"Jules as I said, remember when Mark Castillo called me Chamaco, a kid in the block? This young kid in the block is up for any challenge, so there we go."

No travel plans have as yet been announced for the PM
