Corozal Police made a contraband bust on Sunday, when they intercepted a van driven by a couple from Calcutta Village.
Inside the van, they found twenty cases of contraband Superior beer from Mexico.
They were both detained and the van and its contents impounded. Police handed the matter over to customs who will likely settle with the couple. They have not been criminally charged.
