Yesterday morning between 12:00 and 1:00, a resident of Maxboro woke up to find intruders in his home. The 33 year old male, Sean Yorke and his girlfriend, Tarah Young saw two male intruders barging into his bedroom. One of them had a knife and attacked him while his girlfriend began screaming. That sent both men running out of the house without taking anything. Yorke received scratches and bruises but no serious injury.

In other police news, the cops shot a man in Valley of Peace, Cayo. Yesterday afternoon at 2:00, police were about to search Kevin Avetar's residence when the 21 year old dashed into the nearby bushes. A police officer caught him and Avetar allegedly attempted to wrest away the firearm. Police say, quote, "As a result several shots were fired that resulted in Avetar receiving a flesh wound to the left leg."

And...This morning the GSU searched the home of a well-known street figure and found nothing. But when they searched a nearby property on Dolphin Street - they came up with a 9 millimeter pistol and two bags of weed stashed under a house.

The weed weighed in at about three pounds.
