Crime on a Low, But Shots Fired on Southside
posted (April 19, 2018)

As we've been reporting, gun and gang violence on the city's southside has gone down sharply - just one month after a new team took over the ministry, the southside, and operational command.  So much so that tonight you won't see  ASP Cowo or Inspector Ferrufino on the news as you usually do on Thursday - because the regular bi - weekly police press brief had to be cancelled due to a lack of news.

While that's encouraging, shots were fired on Euphrates Avenue just a short while ago.  One expended.22 shell was found on scene along with a discarded bicycle.  Best reports say no one was injured. There are two suspects.
