An 82 year old was knocked down and killed yesterday on the Stann Creek Valley Road. Around 1:50 in the afternoon, 24 year old Shamir Leslie was traveling from Belmopan to Placencia about to approach the Xaibel gas station - 6 miles out of Dangriga - when he knocked down 82-year-old farmer of Big Falls, Toledo Pedro Cucul. Cucul was crossing the road to catch a bus. He died on the spot.
