In other accident news.
Last week we told you about 25 year old accident victim Christian Charles - who was in a critical condition. Well, 8 days after the accident, he died this morning from his injuries.
Charles, was knocked down by a hit-and-run driver.
Today, the cops told us that they are trying to figure out what happened to him:

"There was a road traffic accident, what is being investigated as a road traffic accident. This was reported on the 15th of April sometime around 5:20 am. Acting upon information received, Ladyville police visited the Burrell Boom Road where they observed the body of a male person on the road. That person was identified to be Christian Charles, a 27 year old Belizean labourer of Burrell Boom village. He was seen with several scratches and injuries to the face. Initial investigation revealed that he was walking on the road and is suspected to have been hit by a vehicle. Because of the injuries that he sustained, it is consistent of a road traffic accident. Today on the 23 of April about 5 am, Mr. Charles succumbed to his injuries and he was pronounced dead by doctor Cuellar. That matter is under investigation. No one has been arrested and charged for that."

As we reported, Charles was walking home after a night out near the Burrell Boom bridge when he was hit by a vehicle, which left him for dead on the road.
