And there was almost a murder in Belize City this afternoon.
According to reports, a 21 year man was targeted on Holy Emmanuel Street, near the Chetumal Boulevard.
Reports to 7News are that some time around 2:30, 21 year-old Samuel Neal, a labourer from Sand Hill Village, was conducting work near 2 and a half miles on the George Price Highway on the road side. That's reportedly when a dark-skinned man approached him, pulled out a gun and fired several shots in his direction.
Neal was grazed to the head, and reports are that in his panic, he ran all the way up the highway until he arrived at the Foam Factory. He was reportedly picked up and then escorted to the KHMH, where he is receiving treatment.
