And while Figueroa's family told us that the only thing they took was his cell phone, and police said in a press release that there was no robbery at all, Deputy Commissioner Williams had a different take. He told us that the incident now looks like a robbery because contrary to what was said before it seems money was stolen from the shop.

"Well from what we are gathering the motive may have been robbery."

"I know they did not take any money. DO you find that strange?"
DCP Chester Williams
"From what we understand money was taken."
Sahar Vasquez, reporter
"So money was taken?"
DCP Chester Williams
"Yes."
Sahar Vasquez
"Did they take anything else from him, a cell phone?"
DCP Chester Williams
"Not to our knowledge. No."
"At this time we believe that one of the persons knew the deceased the other two did not."
The amount of money taken was not confirmed. Police continue to investigate.
