And, this afternoon at the Belize City Council, it was another Candice - in this case, Candice Miller, the embattled City Administrator who was at the center of the controversy.
We are told she made an appearance before the Council Caucus led by Mayor Bernard Wagner for a disciplinary hearing.
Miller and her attorney, Magali Perdomo, made an appearance before the council, and at around 4 p.m. this evening, they exited, refusing all requests from the awaiting media for comment.
Her suspension, which her attorney has asserted is unlawful, continues at this time. She also has a lawsuit pending in the Supreme Court over this same issue.
She's been on suspension since early April after the Mayor took issue with the payment of 6-thousand-dollar food and beverage bill she authorized. It was paid by former city council employee, Joe Bradley, the father of the former mayor, Darrell Bradley.
