Media personality Sharon Marin-Lewis is trying her hand at writing, and she has published her first book.
It's called "Superstition: A Belizean Snapshot", and as the name suggests, it takes a look at some of the cultural superstitions that have persisted in Belizean society.
Right now, her new book is being launched at the Image Art Factory in Belize City, and she's hoping that readers will pick it up to look up some of the enduring local myths that Belizeans still faithfully believe in.
She told us why she thinks you'll be entertained by her first written work:
The book is $30, and it is available for purchase from Marin-Lewis herself, the Image Factory Bookstore in Belize City, and at Barefoot Auto-rentals in Placencia.
It is also available for purchase online at Amazon.com for $15 US, in paperback and e-book formats. Marin-Lewis told us that she chose to publish the book herself through a sister company of Amazon.
