Two Sandhill men were socializing this weekend - and then it got nasty. Around 11:00 on Friday, 28 year old Jude Moody and 26 year old Ivan Hyde had a dispute about a card game. And that's when Moody allegedly pulled out a machete. Police told us more:

"Mr. Hyde was at the residence of a friend at 19 miles, Sand Hill Village. They were socializing when an argument ensued between a group of persons that were there present in that gathering and as a result, one of the male persons inflicted the chop wound to his neck. So far, police detained that male persons who was brought into custody and questioned and on yesterday's date, that male person was arrested and charged for the crime of Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Dangerous Harm."
Jude Moody, a fisherman of 19 miles Sandhill Village, was charged with attempted murder when he appeared today before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford. Moody was also charged with dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm. Moody was remanded into custody until August 14.
