And police don't have much answers in this case either. Although they say Gentle is known to police, they haven't come up with a motive as yet.

"Police were called to a nightclub on Hudson Street in San Ignacio, based on information that shots were fired. Upon the police arrival, a male person was seen lying on the steps of the nightclub apparently dead with two gunshot injuries; one to the head and one to the abdomen area. Based on the police's investigation, whilst the deceased was at the foot of the steps he was approached by a lone gunman wearing a black cap who fired the two shots after him before making good his escape."
"No motive as yet. I know that based on the investigators he is known to the police, so we're looking at different angles to the relation to this investigation."
