While police were very forthcoming about their investigation into all these cases, they were very brief in their discussing 2 cases involving their very own.
The first one happened on Sunday in the Cayo District. Reports are Police Constable Hector Esquivel was at home with a woman Corporal, when they had some sort of disagreement. During the incident, the Corporal allegedly stabbed PC Esquivel, and he had to be rushed to the San Ignacio Community Hospital, reportedly in a critical condition.
We asked about the case today, but the cops were tight lipped:

"We are aware of an incident involving PC Esquivel. We are dealing with the matter, we know for certain that there was an incident involving him and another person however no official report has been made."

"So, are preliminary investigations- from at least the victim- that he intends to take any action or is he being reluctant?"

"No, I would not be able to comment about that at this point in time."
