The other woman killed in a it and run accident was 37 year old Rosita Requena - who was knocked down by a hit and run driver between miles 9 and 10 on the Southern Highway near of Silk Grass Village.
It happened at 9:30 on Sunday morning where she was seen dead on the roadside with multiple head and body injuries.
Requena lived in Silk Grass.
There are also reports of another weekend accident on the southern highway. Unofficial reports say that it happened near DEEP RIVER area when the driver of a Ford Ranger pick up lost control and several of his passengers were injured.
This includes a 17 year old who his mother says has been pronounced a paraplegic by doctors.
