The National Trade Union Congress of Belize has joined the chorus of voices out of Belize condemning the killing of 60 Palestinians at the hands of the Israeli military forces, who also injured over 2,000, four hundred and fifty of whom were hurt by live rounds fired upon them.

A press release from the NTUCB says, quote, “The National Trade Union Congress of Belize… condemns the disproportionate and deadly Israeli suppression of Palestinian protests on the Gaza Strip boundary, leading up to, and since the recent opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem. (The) NTUCB is dismayed that the State of Israel has chosen to respond with such lethality against mostly unarmed Palestinian. ” End Quote.
