This morning the K-9 unit came upon a big cannabis find. Around 6:30 while the K-9 unit was searching through an overgrown, garbage - strewn lot near the home of a known drug peddler, they found 3 parcels of cannabis amounting to a total of three pounds. As we understand it, the weed was concealed in a PVC pipe in such a way that only the K-9's could find it.
And also this morning, police came up with half a pound of weed inside a wrecked SUV. First, they searched in the yard of an abandoned house on Faber's Road, and found nothing. But, when they checked inside an SUV in the yard they found a black plastic bag with the weed in the armrest compartment. The drugs were labelled as found property.
