"There were a number of robberies that occurred within Belize City and it is a trend that they had being seeing that is developing for the past month or even at the beginning of the year. We on the department's side wants to encourage those business owners and individuals especially when walking on the streets or doing their regular exercise and dealing with their business to be careful and to be observant as to who is behind them or who is coming. Your property and belongs you must have in a place where they are properly secured. Do not walk on the streets and have you phone in your hands and not looking what is ahead of you. That is what is causing a lot of these robberies."
