Earlier we told you about the national climate outlook forum at the George Price Center. Well, over at the NEMO building the National Emergency Management Organization was holding a planning meetings for the hurricane season.

This morning, there was a Fuel Managers' meeting to plan the most efficient way, in the event that coastal communities must be evacuated, to provide fuel to the general public, public transport, essential government vehicles, water taxis and private vessels.

And, this afternoon, there was a meeting of the Transport and Evacuation Committee to discuss transportation and evacuation procedures in the event that NEMO has to execute a coordinated evacuation of coastal communities. 

These types of sessions will continue throughout the Hurricane Season.
