At around 5:10 this morning, officers from Eastern Division Region 3's Quick Response Team searched a bushy lot in the Mile 8 community on the George price Highway. The officers found a shiny black 9mm pistol along with 2 magazines and 20 live rounds of ammunition. No one was in the area, and so, the cops are treating it as found property. It will be packaged and taken to the ballistics lab for analysis.
