A morning jog gone wrong in San Ignacio - 28 year old Ansella Rodriguez went running yesterday morning at 6:30 as she usually does. But as she was running on the Bullet tree road near the New Site Area, a Wingle pickup ran straight into her.
Rodriguez received multiple injuries that were too serious to be treated at the San Ignacio Community hospital, so she was transferred to the KHMH.
Information from the family is that her leg is broken and she will undergo surgery next Wednesday. The driver Julio Antonio Perez has been served with a notice of intended prosecution.
