Judge Deliberates Fate of Alleged Killer
posted (June 6, 2018)

A 29 year old is awaiting the Judge's decision to learn if he'll go to jail for the murder of 31 year old Moses Coc - which happened on San Pedro in 2014.

The trial started 8 days ago and hinges to a great extent on the testimony of Jeronimo Ack, who was bar hopping with Coc on the night of his murder. He said they called it a night and split up which is when he heard his friend scream for help.  He says he saw a dark skin male person hitting Coc in his head with a stick.

Prosecutor, Shanice Lovell presented a caution statement which the accused gave to police.  In that, Moody claims that he was approached by two men who tried to steal his bicycle.  He says he picked up a stick to defend himself and the two then men left the area.

Justice Lucas will deliver his ruling two weeks from today.
